D'Oyly Carte Music, with its exclusive agreement with D’Oyly Carte Island, will preserve the islands musical heritage with a limited number of intimate performances in the grand ballroom by a few of the world’s top performing artists and attended by 50 of their friends and celebrity guests.
These relaxed, insightful, and exclusive performances will be shared with global audiences with exclusive pay per view performances being streamed live over the internet.
It is difficult to appreciate the significance of this Victorian trio. In the 1890’s Sir Arthur Gilbert, Sir William Sullivan and Richard D’Oyly Carte were as famous, talented and celebrated as Adel, Ed Sheeran and Simon Cowell are today!
It is important to compliment a venue with so much music heritage with other music memorabilia from that time and we are delighted to confirm an agreement with Melvyn Tarran, the founder and owner of the Gilbert & Sullivan Museum, for D’Oyly Carte Island to house some of the most important pieces from this unique and invaluable collection.
